Social UNO Expansion Pack

Social networks today affect our lifes anytime, everywhere. This project inserts ‘social impact’ into a universal game: UNO. The project provides an expansion pack of 10 new playing cards for the existing UNO-game set. The pack includes cards for ‘Like’, ‘Add Friend’, ‘Block’, ‘Deactivate’, ‘Send Message’, ‘Tag’, ‘Unfollow’, ‘Public’, ‘Privacy’, and ‘Ask Question’. Each card is associated with a specific action that brings to life the usually merely virtual interaction of social networks, and ties them to a commonly known und understood gaming context.

Doing so the Social UNO Expansion Pack re-defines the game with new social terms, thus playfully comments on our all daily social practices.
