I am a graphic designer based in Hong Kong. I deeply believe that there is no clear cut between art and design; instead they complement each other for the pursuit of beauty. As my generation of grew up in the computer technology era, I on the one hand am used to working with computers on a daily basis, yet on the other hand, it makes me cherish more those things that cannot be computerized. These two attitude have translated into my personal design style: my works are always composed by elements of human sensory and emotional experiences, which should be vital components of any art and design.

I believe my creativity should not be limited to the graphic design area alone, but can be extended into various media. This belief has opened new horizons for me, yet I am still new to this field, and I am therefore deeply honoured and humbled that my work Taste the Buddhism – a spiritual experience using ice-cream as its medium – was selected for the Setouchi Triennale 2013 in Japan, one of the leading international art festivals in regard to art and sustainability.

Following my heart has helped me to find my personal pathway into the deeper realms of experiential art and design.
